Which one is better?

From the shoot, I am just playing with the colour tones at the moment. Which one would you say was better? Right or Left? Sorry for the terrible resolution, I am still in the process of editing them.. :) look at it as a teaser!

Oh look at that, two entries in a row! A new record hahah

Well, my iPhoto decided to work! and I found this one photo that I haven't showed that many people. My mother said it wasn't a good photo of me, well.. it's not meant to!

I took this photo one night when I was having a photography "dry spell" It's the worst feeling especially if there is nothing to photograph. This photograph was meant to be about the "materialistic" world. It was meant to have me standing on a pile of shoes etc.. but I couldn't at the time access my collection of shoes as it was locked away :( So instead, I created an image of how I would feel when all that's important to me is gone (inclusive of my shoes..) I call this,

HAUNTED...

It was so difficult as it was my first self portrait and non-natural light photography; to position the camera, get the light to hit where I wanted it to, get the correct facial expression etc. etc. One thing's for sure, I think I'm much better behind the camera than in front :)

It's finally here.... I'll be finishing up on the 18th of June! Unfortunately, that means I won't have much time to write stuff on here since I'll be off studying like the little nerd I am.. So instead, I'll try to upload some of my old photography work each day :) From the  really old stuff, that I did when I first picked up the camera, client work, in-the-moment photos, playing around with cameras and the latest ones that I've done, which isn't many :) but I might as well post a photo now, this is one of my favourite.. Kinda spontaneous

I took this photo on a day trip to Sydney as I live about an hour away. This is my boyfriend Matt.. He is being his usual silly, confident self.. 

The lighting was perfect, his sternocleidomastoid is showing... which I like haha. I took about three shots and this was the best one.. Good enough for a deodorant ad? :P 

As I recalled, I didn't even have to edit this photo. Nice, easy, relaxed :) More to come!
