I just love spontaneous photo shoots and rush orders! A friend of mine is currently doing commerce at the University and she needed a few photos for an "Advertising Proposal" for her assignment and I was recruited to help with taking the photos! I was delighted as per usual. I just love fashion photography! I really think I learnt something today! I have so many exclamation marks in this paragraph I must be excited!

The proposal was done for the brand "CUE" both my friend Ramona and I are in love with the brand so it was a perfect excuse for everyone to strut around in their best dresses!

I hope you have enjoyed the little sneaky peek to the enchanting world I visit once every photoshoot! With that, I think its my cue to leave.. see what I did there?

Greetings July! My favourite month of the year because this month, signifies the birth of Harry Potter.. and Me! I was so hoping to post every single day of the month but I have been working non-stop from day one and I am now down with the cold...

As promised in my Newtown post, I would like to show you my beautiful purchases from the day.
Starting from the top, we have a "lace" patterned pencil skirt. It was a really pretty one that I wore when I went out with a few friends. It was so comfortable it hugs in all the right places!

The middle two photographs are the scarfs that I purchased from Mulberry Street! The one on the left is a vintage Hermes Brides de Gala scarf. I am quite sure it's only inspired and not actually a Hermes scarf but it is of good quality and colour. The second scarf is a modern gradient scarf. I really like the earthy colour that this scarf has and it drapes beautifully.

The bottom images consists of two clothing. The one in the middle is a button down sleeveless black shirt with a bow. I loved the feel of the fabric on this one. It was really light and can be worn with almost anything!

The second item is shown in the right and left photos. It's a button-down top (again) with bell-sleeves. I was a little uncertain about this item; however, when I tried it on, I thought it was casual yet dressy because although it looked really business like, it was sheer ~ not the slutty kind of sheer either. It was sheer enough to be sexy but the way the material was woven together, it was thick enough to be mysterious. With a nice pair of heels and tight jeans, this top has a lot of potential!

I've realised something.. I really need to stop buying black clothing! I have so many... but you can never go wrong with black... too safe?

Happy July!

A couple of days ago, Matt and I headed out to Shellharbour to watch Snow White and the Huntsman. After not seeing each other for a few days, it felt so different to head out again. On a normal week, we would see each other almost everyday, mainly for studying purposes however, since we were both busy working for a few days it felt different making time especially to spend time with each other. No study or stress involved.

It felt so exciting and new again and here is what I wore for the night!

Lovisa bracelet, Bardot Black Skinny Jeans, A Squirrel Jumper (hahaha)
Steve Madden "Viciious" Pumps
Oh and here is Matt being cute as per usual!

He looks a little like a Russian Mafia.. So Butch with his Hello Pandas and all hahaha

One of the nicest place to stroll around in Sydney. It's probably more appropriate to call it Oldtown as it has a large number of vintage / vintage inspired things. It's consists of numerous small shops lining the main street. It's extremely artsy and has extremely random selections of things on offer.

Prior to purchasing my MacBook Air, My auntie, mum and I went to Newtown to look around and I couldn't wait to share with you my favourite shopping destination!
My Reflection!

I want those hot air balloons!
YOU MUST VISIT!

Mulberry Street
1950s Inspired dress by Mulberry Street
This place was pretty heavenly. It had one of the loveliest person working there who is the designer for Mulberry Street. Her stuff is inspired by vintage garments and there is a whole collection of well tailored dresses and apparently they can design your dream dress upon request! Some of the stuff is pretty costly however you are getting your money's worth.

I purchased two things from this shop and I'll post it later once I have a nice picture of it.

I've always had a thing for Milk Bars..

Street Art :P
p.s. I would have had more photos if I wasn't hyperventilating at every store I visited hahaha I'll show you my purchases later...

No, I did not make babies.. but I did purchase these "babies" from ASOS a week ago and it finally came!!

I am so overjoyed! It brings tears into my eyes.. I love them to death. Personally, I'm not the pink kind of person, however, I saw these and I knew I had to have them. I am hoping to use them in a photoshoot of some sort :)

They are just delightful. I took ballet a couple of years ago.. it lasted about 3 months.. I was no good at it to be honest.. but I could just imagine my self en pointe.. or pretend to be wearing these!

YUCK LIGHTING

Well Packed! Sneak a Peak!

TA-DAA!! My "Pointe" hehehe
It's an ASOS brand believe it or not.. in my time of e-purchasing, I did not know ASOS had their own brand.. I thought they outsourced! but they continue to surprise me! (they're wedges btw) I had something against wedges for a while but I've decided.. they aren't so bad.. What to wear them with though...

I was trying to be all artistic and stuff so they are not representing their true colour. If you look at picture number 2, between the white tissue paper, you can see it's real colour and it's really beautiful and well made! True to size (I'm a UK6 apparently, AU38 - 7.5)

They were on sale for about $35 or so, not too expensive!

First thing you should know about me is that I'm a juggler. I'm one of those people that likes a lot of things and wants to do a lot of things but lack the time. The majority of my time is split between work, university and attempting to salvage what is left of my social life. On top of that, I need to keep feeding my addiction of food, fashion, fitness and fotography.

In saying that I'm a juggler, I don't mean that I'm a good one. I tend to procrastinate, a lot... I am doing it right now. I should really be doing my control mechanism assignment but who wants to be reading up theories on valsalva manoeuvres when I could be looking up my next inspiration for my photography. I'm a huge fan of Tim Walker who just loves to belittle people.... (you'll know what I mean). Here are two of my favourites:

What else to say... I obsess over little things and I am a bit of a perfectionist. I stayed up till' 3 in the AM yesterday perfecting the banner for "House of the Tale Thief" only to find that I had no idea how to get it to sit in the middle of the page. Does anyone?? Please e-mail me if you do.. I am trying to get the hang of this whole blogging thing.

I learnt last night as I was slowly falling asleep that if I don't let things go, nothing will get done so here I am posting my very first blog with my eye slightly twitching at the imperfection of the blog. At least it's my imperfections and mine only. One that I hope to fix soon but will love for now.

I hope that my blog will inspire people. In what way? We shall see together. I can't predict the future but I have great hopes for it.
